ON September 26, 2024, Senior High Students of Computer Communication Development Institute (CCDI) secure a spot in the LGU “Bida Serye” Slogan and Poster Making Contest held at SM Event Center, Sorsogon City.
Marien Erika Santos, ABM 11 Student bagged 1st place in Slogan Making Contest. Santos said that she didn’t feel any pressure right away when the competition started
“Before the competition started, to be honest I did not feel any pressure. The only thing in my mind was that I’m in it for the experience and to enjoy the moment.,” said Santos.
She further stated that there were 6 others who joined the contest.
“When the started announcing the winners, I was only expecting to run 3rd place, but I never expected that I will be in the 1st place, of course I was shocked and at the same time ecstatic.” Santos added.
While Princess Nikka Cui, Animation 12 hits 2nd place in the poster-making contest.
Cui also didn’t expect that she’d get a place in the said contest and stated that she couldn’t say anything. “It was just nice,” Cui said.
Santos and Cui were coached by their adviser, Ms. Olive Dealca, and Mr. Willy Dongsao ensured the top spot after focusing on the theme “Buhay ay ingatan, droga ay iwasan.”
The said contest was conducted by the LGU of Sorsogon City as they celebrate the declaration of Drug-Free City on March 19, 2024.
