Charles Francis Padua, BSIT 3 of CCDI Sorsogon for wins Gold Medal in IT Software Solutions for Business category of the recent Philippine National Skills Competition or World Skills Philippines held last August 21-25, 2024 at the World Trade Center .
Coached by Mr. Edward Reyes and trained by Mr. Junnel Fadrilan and Mr. Elvin Luces, he bested other regional champions from:

- Bulacan Polytechnic College (Region III)
- Lyceum of the Philippines University of Batangas (Region IV-A)

- Northridge Institute of Business and Technology, Inc. (CAR).
Charles who garnered 100% score in ITSSB qualified to represent the Philippines in the 14th ASEAN Skills Competition 2025 against Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and Myanmar.
Meanwhile, CCDI’s Mark Paul Yu is set compete for the World Skills in France this September.
