Fancying the night with a difference and without breaking a celebration, Computer Communication Development Institute (CCDI) glittered a night of glamour during the Recognition Night and Tribute party. As part of the academe’s 21st Foundation Anniversary, the event was carried out last February 14, 2018 at the Sorsogon Provincial Gymnasium.
CCDI pays tribute to the proud graduating students from the College Department and Senior High School Department-Grade 12 for ‘unleashing their powers within during their stay inside the institution. Likewise, the event also highlighted the distribution of academic and proficiency awards to the deserving students for their achievements and excellence in this academic year.
The event’s spotlight also focused on the “Fashion Show” by the selected college and senior high students. The students flaunted four different attires: summer attire, trendy attire, retro attire, and the formal attire, which filled the night with so much glamour.
Behind this delighted event, Mr. Julio Ajero, Dean of Student Affairs, welcomed all the students and guests to the Tribute Night with his welcome remarks. On the other hand, Mr. Edgar C. Ballasta, CCDI School Administrator, welcomed the event’s guest speaker, Tourism Director Bobby Gigontine.
“It’s you as a person unleashing the full potential.”, Mr. Gigontine said as he encourage the students with the event’s theme during his speech. He also emphasized that nothing is impossible when it comes to unleashing an individual’s true potential.
Mr. Mar Marvenne Mira and Ms Lindsay Belleza were pronounced as the Stars of the Night and Mr. Nikko Leonardo Musni and Ms Ma. Rosa Mhestica Mariñas were the Faces of the Night. Likewise, Mr. Harrold Aguire was concluded as the Head Turner of the Night.
CCDI had been practicing this event annually to celebrate every end of academic year and to recognize the student’s achievements.
