After the series of triumphs Joven Hayagan grappled from in and outside the country, another proud CCDIan had proven his talent and skills in the field of Information Technology (IT).
Cymon Nezortado, a 4th year student of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSCS) in Computer Communication Development Institute (CCDI) bagged two consecutive gold medals during the skills competition for IT Software Solutions for Business.
Nezortado was first sent to Malilipot, Albay to represent CCDI in a skills competition wherein various participating schools from around the Bicol Region were present. After wittingly winning a gold medal, he advanced to the World Skills Olympics –Philippines 2017 last November 29 to December 3 of the previous year held in Taguig City.
He was pronounced as a gold medalist and the Best of the 17 Regions and was able to take down CCDI’s opponent, Region III, in the IT Software Solutions for Business category.
According to his coach, Mr. Junnel Fadrilan MIT., Nezortado already manifested a potential in analyzing programming problems since his first year in CCDI. He also added that Nizortado knows how to seemly concentrate in class and in review sessions.
Nezortado’s recently concluded achievements paved a way for him toward the World Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) Skills Olympics 2018. He will, again represent CCDI and the Philippines this 2018 in Thailand. #GualvezG.
